Exhibition: Picking Petals, Finding Pebbles

On November 21st until 24th, there will be an exhibition on our first floor by Marieke Bontinck and Celina Vleugels.

Marieke Bontinck’s work evolved into a combination of drawing and painting where everyday forms transform into primary nostalgia. From documenting and analyzing her emotional world, she developed a fragile visual language with an earthly undertone. Her imagination navigates between porous poetry, raw melancholy, and colorful memories.

Celina Vleugels studied both painting and textile design. She translates her imagination into intimate drawings and textile works that stimulate the senses. In her work, she searches for a place where she can reveal the most vulnerable version of herself, without feeling judged. From yarn, textiles, paint, embroidery, felt, mosaic and recycled materials, Celina creates tender textile works and installations that exude a comforting softness.

We would like to invite you to the opening night on the 21st of november from 18:00 until the last pebble is found. There will be free drinks at the opening.
