Patagonia

Founded by rock climber Yvon Chouinard in 1973, Patagonia is an American outdoor clothing company. Patagonia’s mission is ‘we’re in business to save our home planet’. Patagonia was implementing ethical business practices long before it was cool to do so and has made reducing the company's footprint a priority. Most pieces are made from recycled fabrics. In 2022 Chouinard gave up his billionaire status after giving the company to a climate crisis non-profit organization. Any profit not reinvested in the company is used to fight the climate crisis.
